Stumped on date ideas? One place you could look to is Bonifacio Global City, or most commonly known as BGC. Not only is the city beautiful, but it is also teeming with romantic date spots. From nature trails to techy museums, the city is full of activities for you and your significant other. No wonder people are always on the lookout in this area for a condo for sale. The Fort and other attractions in the city add so much value to the social and romantic lives of people living there. Here are some of the romantic spots in Bonifacio Global City that will surely take your breath away.
Greenway Park is the longest linear park in Metro Manila spanning over a kilometer and a half. It is located it in the western part of BGC – passing near the Manila Golf Club, Bonifacio Ridge, Bellagio towers, 8 Forbestown Road, Pacific Plaza Towers, and other residential buildings.
The trail itself is mood-setting with fresh air, dim lights, and beautiful plants. Whether you are looking for a relaxing walk or a heart-pumping jog, you and your significant other will enjoy getting to know each other while traveling down this romantic trail.
Along the Greenway Park trail is a garden called Kasalikasan. This garden is designed in an amphitheater style and was made for private events, small gatherings, or simple retreats for those seeking for rest. It certainly provides people with a break from the city life since this serene garden is littered with butterflies which reinvigorate the soul. The city may just be a few steps away, but this is a paradise you and your loved one could enjoy despite being in the middle of the metro.
Pastel’s “Calamansi and Sampaguita”
If your other half is into getting those perfect Instagram posts, then Bonifacio Global City is the place to be. The city is filled with beautiful murals painted on tall buildings. This could make for beautiful architectural photo opportunities or a great background to show off an #OOTD.
In line with the city’s breathtaking murals, one of the largest and most beautiful murals in the city is the Pastel’s “Calamansi and Sampaguita”. The artist spent days creating this. He used the calamansi to represent “purity” and the sampaguita to symbolize “humility”, which ultimately gives Filipinos a sense of passion and pride while taking in this piece of art. You can find this striking mural on the side of the BGC Corporate Center building.
This area is full of intimate dinner spots with romantic energy. These restaurants have a variety of dishes that you and your partner will enjoy no matter what your food preferences are – from all-American, pub-style, local fusion, to healthy menus – are all available here. Not to mention the booze, with multiple choices of beer, wine, and hard drinks.
After you’ve gotten your fill of food and drinks, the next thing you should satisfy is your heart. Take your loved one to “The Tree” – a golden landmark in the middle of Burgos Circle that is meant to symbolize the circle of life.
The Mind Museum
If you are opting for a romantic and educational date, then The Mind Museum is the perfect place for the two of you. The museum is built with over 250 interactive exhibits within 5 main galleries spanning 4900 square meters of a two-story building. Every gallery has their own theme – atom, life, earth, universe, and technology. The museum won a THEA Award in 2014 for Outstanding Achievement in the Science Museum category because of how well the exhibits were designed and executed.
Bonifacio Global City contains romantic trails, gardens, artwork, restaurants and even museums. However, these are just a few example of epic date spots around the city.
